Dino Run is a classic running game, created by Pixeljam. You play as a dinosaur and you have to run from extinction. Prevent the extinction of your species by running away from flying meteorites and evil dinosaurs! Take control of a dino fighting for his life. Run as quickly as possible, and stomp on other animals in your path. Jump over obstacles, and don't get caught in pits. Avoid total extinction at all costs!

Dino Run is a Flash game created by PixelJAM and XGen Studios, released on April 30, 2008. The player steers a Velociraptor through increasingly dangerous side-scrolling landscapes to escape an impending "wall of doom". The game uses simple pixel art and 8-bit sound to replicate the style of 1980s arcade games.[1][2] Dino Run was conceived by PixelJAM co-founder Richard Grillotti while he was sketching dinosaurs.[3]
In November 2013, PixelJam launched a Kickstarter fundraising campaign to finance development of Dino Run 2. The game would introduce new dinosaurs,[10][11] including Triceratops, Parasaurolophus, Pachycephalosaurus, and Archaeopteryx.[12] The fundraiser sought $175,000,[13][14] but ended a month later, raising only $83,476.[15][16] Another Kickstarter campaign succeeded in being funded in 2018.[17][18] The game remains unreleased.

Dinosaurs did not actually wear hats, but there are tiny traces of them in the plastic tightening straps on all baseball caps.
